About the Tournament: The TRL Memorial Golf Tournament is a heartfelt gathering of friends, family, and the community to honor the life and legacy of Timmy Lyons. Who Was Timmy Lyons? Timmy Lyons was a beloved brother, son, friend, colleague, and proud Local 537 member. Known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and big heart, Timmy had a way of brightening any room he walked into. Tragically, on July 18, 2020, Timmy passed away in an ATV accident. Despite this heartbreaking loss, his legacy continues to inspire and bring people together. This tournament is a testament to the profound impact Timmy had on so many lives.
Why We Play: The TRL Memorial Golf Tournament was established to honor Timmy by fostering the same camaraderie and joy he brought to those around him. Where the Money Goes: All proceeds from the TRL Memorial Golf Tournament will be donated to Xaverian Brothers High School in Timmy’s honor. This institution played a significant role in shaping Timmy’s life and values, and the XB community provided tremendous support to our family during difficult times. By giving back to the Xaverian community, we hope to empower other students and families with the same opportunities and care that meant so much to Timmy and our family.
